Book Ends is a quintessential New England
Independent Bookstore in the heart of charming
Winchester Center since 1984. The business evolved
from a small used bookstore in the 80s to a thriving
bookstore and gift shop today. Taken over by
Winchester resident Judy Manzo in 1992, the store has
tripled in size. Our modern technology combined with
friendly and knowledgeable booksellers contribute
to a memorable shopping experience for the entire
family. In addition, we offer free story hours, free gift
wrapping, Internet ordering, and competitive pricing
on orders for schools and businesses.
Open long hours daily, the store has become
a popular destination for author signings and for
ticket sales supporting many local non-profit events
and fundraisers. We provide free home deliveries
in Winchester, popular with seniors and young
families. We also work with groups sponsoring
business meetings, conferences, and conventions
in Greater Boston. Since 2005 Book Fairs by Book
Ends, our school book fair division, has provided
premier literary fundraisers to hundreds of Greater
Boston schools.

operated by Winchester residents Gene and
Maura Fredey.
Who are our clients? Our firm/design studio
serves a clientele of about half homeowners
directly and half builders/contractors/architects/
interior designers.
What we do: We personally guide you and
navigate the design and product selection portion of
your kitchen project. We deliver expert design and
product education, so you have confidence in your
choices and the results meet your unique goals.
