HOURS OF OPERATION:

We are available to provide care for

your loved ones 24 hours a day, 7

days a week.

The Winchester-based franchise of Comfort

Keepers is locally owned and operated by Jeneen

Sasso of Melrose. Jeneen’s passion for caregiving,

and her experience caring for her own grandmother,

led her to Comfort Keepers in 2005. She has built

an outstanding reputation in the community as a

premier interactive, non-medical provider of in-

home care, including personal care.

Our philosophy is to provide more than just

in-home care services. We offer clients a level

of comfort that helps preserve their dignity and

provides a quality of life that can only be achieved

at home. We are also there to give help to family

and friends coping with the emotional challenges

and additional time burden inevitably associated

with this kind of sensitive situation.

Comfort Keepers provides a range of personal

care and companionship services including:

transportation to/from doctor appointments

and hospital procedures; errand services; meal

preparation; medication reminders; Dementia and

Alzheimer’s care; assistance with bathing, dressing,

and incontinence; Safety Solutions including a 24

hour personal emergency response system; respite

and relief for family caregivers; light housekeeping;

and overnight care.

We can assist those in Winchester and

surrounding communities, including Arlington,

Belmont, Burlington, Lexington, and Woburn. Please

call us anytime to discuss your needs!

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Fall, Winter, Summer Sessions

Available. Contact Lanie Higgins for

Schedule at 781-729-7157.

Inspire, create, innovate, and apply are all

words that Lanie Higgins uses to describe the

purpose of teaching science. The goal is to

engage as many students as possible by having

them discover that science is everywhere, and it

is truly an exciting subject to study. The lack of

scientists and engineers prompted Lanie Higgins

to develop Cool Science Club based on STEM

(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

for the Winchester Public Schools.

Lanie and her experienced staff of passionate

teachers have been together over eight years

to develop a two-week summer program for

budding young scientists. The small student-to-

teacher ratio is often described as a family-like

atmosphere where children feel safe to learn

and explore new concepts. Brothers and sisters

attend each year, and CSC alumni return to

become our enthusiastic youth counselors. A

daily newsletter allows parents to chat with their

children about the activities of the day.
