Members of First Church of Christ, Scientist,
Winchester (a branch of The Mother Church in
Boston), welcome you to enjoy the peaceful
atmosphere of our Reading Room for spiritual study,
reflection, and prayer.
While Christian Scientists love to answer
questions about their faith and its Founder, Mary
Baker Eddy, they respect each individual’s beliefs,
and will not attempt to proselytize.
Pick out a comfortable chair to use while you read
Bibles or Bible research works, check out materials
from The Christian Science Publishing Society, study
Mary Baker Eddy’s writings, including the Christian
Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to
the Scriptures, or listen to spiritual music CDs. A
media desk is available to view our publications
and audio chats online. We also have children’s
Bible storybooks and a lending library. The Christian
Science Monitor is also available to read in print or
online or to purchase. This news source has the
motto, “To injure no man, but to bless all mankind.”
