Maria Pintone Taliaferro, Owner and
Master Artistic Director, followed her dream
from Italy to Winchester, opening Salone
Estetica in December 1978. Starting as a
salon, Maria expanded in 1998, adding a day
spa to provide many additional services such
as nails, esthetics, and massage.
Salone Estetica is a full service Aveda
Concept Salon, where we strongly believe in
environmental responsibility and leadership.
Our team of Stylists, Nail Technicians,
Estheticians, and Massage Therapists are all
Aveda trained and use these naturally derived
products to give you the best in services, as
well as home care to keep up your beauty
regime.
Due to Maria's thirst for knowledge, she
and her staff attend many classes to stay
current with styles and trends. Her passion
for education for herself and for her team has
led them to receive many awards including
#1 Hair Salon, Regional Best Nail Spa, #1 in
Esthetics and Massage, Top 10 in Boston, and
most recently, Salon Today's Top 200 Salons
for 2015.
